Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Türkiye and the Kingdom of Cambodia were established on November 7, 1959. First Turkish Ambassador resident in Cambodia assumed his duty on November 1, 2013. The Embassy has been located in its current premise since December 1, 2014 and the official inauguration ceremonywas held on March 15, 2015. TheTurkish Embassy in Phnom Penhis the only diplomatic mission of the Republic of Türkiye in the Kingdom of Cambodia and since 2023 has the Office of the Commercial Counsellor attached to it.
